Does IMAj accept students from outside of Arizona? Absolutely. As the nation's premier clinical aesthetics training school, IMAj students often come from across the nation as well Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Approximately 30% - 50% of all IMAj students travel from outside of Arizona to attend. IMAj graduates are in high demand nationwide as a result of the comprehensive nature of the training programs and the success of IMAj graduates. The IMAj Admissions staff would be happy to assist you with travel and local accommodations while you attend school. IMAj has partnered with local hotels that offer discounted rates to IMAj students and shuttle service to-and-from the local airport and to-and-from the school campus each day.
Are there any prerequisites for enrollment? To enroll in the IMAj Clinical Aesthetics Training Course you must be at least 18 years of age or 17 with parental consent, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. The IMAj Arizona State Laser Technician Training Course is a continuing education program, and enrollment is limited to licensed cosmetology or healthcare professionals. If you are interested in the IMAj "Fast Track" Laser Technician Training Course you must reside and plan to work outside of Arizona, and must be at least 18 years of age or 17 with parental consent and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Do the IMAj training courses provide both classroom and hands-on training? Yes! The IMAj training programs provide a combination of classroom lecture training and extensive hands-on training to ensure that each student achieves a high level of comfort with each training course we offer. With more than $1.5 million invested in laser and other energy based technologies, IMAj students are provided with an unparalleled opportunity to gain the experience they will need to start their new careers on the right track. Preparation is the foundation for long term success.
Can I get financial aid? There are numerous forms of financial assistance available, including Sallie Mae, WIA, BIA and more. Please contact the IMAj Admissions department to learn more about all available options at 1 (866) 333-4625.
Does IMAj help with job placement? Absolutely. IMAj is proud to offer resume and job placement assistance to all of its students and graduates. IMAj has direct relationships with a number of the nation's largest medical spa groups and many individual cosmetic medical practices across the country.
Is there a dress code for students who attend IMAj? Students are required to wear scrubs while attending any classroom or lab program on campus. Embroidered "IMAj" logo scrubs are available for purchase for $75 per set, and may be purchased on campus.
Once I register, when do I have to pay my tuition? Tuition payment is required in full prior to the start of a student's first class session, whether on campus or online. Cash, check, or Visa/MC/AMEX payments are accepted. Confirmation of tuition financing and/or scholarships are also accepted.
How does the online course work? The IMAj "Fast Track" Laser Certification Course requires the completion of a 64 hour lecture program that can be completed by live lecture participation on-campus or on-line at your own pace, available 24 hours per day, with live instructor support. Upon completion of the online course, students may schedule to attend hands-on training on campus at any time. The online course is not available to students residing in the state of Arizona. |
