Experience
With
more than 25 years as a leader in research and education in lasers
and medical aesthetics, the IMAj faculty offer unmatched
experience as the nation's leading clinical aesthetics training
school. The IMAj staff have performed thousands of clinical
aesthetic procedures and services, are involved in extensive
ongoing research, and have helped to shape the medical spa
industry as we know it today. IMAj is the only school in the
nation to offer both traditional Aesthetician License training and
comprehensive Laser Technician Certification instruction in a
single integrated course of study. As a result of the
school's reputation as a leader in technology application and the
success our graduates have experienced over the course of the last
decade, IMAj was recently hand-selected by the Delmar Corporation,
the publisher of the industry's leading Esthetician Training text
book series, to become the first school in the Southwestern United
States to implement the new "Paperless Classroom"
digital training system. The January 2nd, 2013, Clinical
Esthetics class was the first to implement these new innovations,
and we are proud to lead the way into the future of aesthetics
education.

Unique
Program
The
IMAj Institute is proud to be the only school in the nation to
offer a 750 hour Clinical Aesthetics program that incorporates the
Aesthetician Licensing Course with a focus on clinical skin care
as well as an ARRA approved Laser Technician Certification course
that provides extensive classroom and hands-on training in
numerous advanced skin care technologies, such as laser hair
removal, RF skin tightening, IPL treatments, and much more.
The IMAj program is designed for students who wish to focus
specifically on clinical aesthetics training in order to prepare
for a successful career in the medical spa or cosmetic medical
industry.

Industry
Leaders
The
IMAj Institute works directly with a number of the largest
companies in the clinical aesthetics industry. In July of
2008 Gary Begley, the President of the IMAj Institute, was
appointed to the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology by Governor
Janet Napolitano to help provide leadership to the aesthetics
community. In 2010, Mr. Begley was elected by his peers to
serve as the Chairman of the Arizona Board of Cosmetology.
During 2012, Mr. Begley was also appointed as the Western Regional
Director for the National Interstate Council of Cosmetology
Schools.

IMAj
is proud to serve as an Arizona State Certified Laser Technician
Training Course provider, as authorized by the Arizona Radiation
Regulatory Agency (ARRA). IMAj was also the first school in
the nation to be licensed by both the ARRA and the Arizona State
Board of Cosmetology. In 2009, IMAj was selected as the "Top Esthetics School in
the Nation" by the members of the Association of Aesthetic
Professionals. In 2008 the IMAj Institute was also selected
for membership by the American Association of Cosmetology Schools
(AACS). IMAj has also been approved for tuition assistance
as a provider for the Arizona Workforce Development Program (AZ
Department of Education) and the Veteran's Administration (GI
Bills). IMAj is also an "Accredited Business" with
the Better Business Bureau, and has an "A+" BBB Rating.

Community
Involvement
IMAj students, graduates, and faculty & staff strive to
contribute to the betterment of their communities by regularly
participating in and supporting numerous local events and
charitable causes. Since 2009, IMAj has served as a primary
sponsor for the annual Miss Arizona Pageant and Scholarship
Fund. IMAj is also a proud supporter of the House of Refuge
in Phoenix, Arizona, and generously and regularly donates to
support its cause. IMAj faculty and staff also frequently
donate their time and resources to local elementary schools and
community groups.

IMAj offers the largest dedicated esthetics school campus in the
Southwest. With large state-of-the-art classrooms, expansive
clinics, numerous laser lab classrooms, an onsite
"teaching" medical spa for real world experience,
designated student study areas, indoor and outdoor break areas,

Faculty
The IMAj Institute employs the largest number of Licensed
Aesthetics Instructors of any school in Arizona. The full
time IMAj faculty consists of Laser Instructors, Esthetics
Instructors, a Nurse Practitioner, and Laser Engineers. With
a wealth of experience and resources, the IMAj faculty offers an
unprecedented opportunity to learn from industry leaders as you
prepare for your new career.

The
IMAj Institute has worked hard to provide a myriad of resources
for its students to ensure that the IMAj training programs are
incredibly comprehensive, and that IMAj graduates are well
prepared to become successful members of the aesthetics community.
The Scottsdale IMAj campus features a 8,500 square foot facility
with a fully operational medical spa, numerous lab and class
rooms, a diverse faculty, and the most on-site laser and
energy-based technologies of any school of its kind. As an
IMAj student you will be provided everything you need to succeed
and make the most of your training experience.

The IMAj faculty and administrative staff has the experience and
resources to provide each student with the support they need to be
successful every step of the way. From the enrollment
process, to completing your classes, to post-graduation support,
IMAj will be there to help guide and support you. IMAj
offers job placement assistance as well as complimentary business
development assistance for those students who want to explore
options for self-employment, including opening your own medical
spa.

Your
Success
Every
component of the IMAj training programs are designed to promote
the success of each individual student. It is the number one
priority of the IMAj faculty to make certain that every student is
ultimately extremely comfortable with each and every technology
and technique. There are minimum requirements for both
classroom and hands-on training with the IMAj training courses,
but there are no maximums. IMAj welcomes every student to
make the most of all of the resources available to them to make
certain that they are ready to become an integral part of the
clinical aesthetics community. Students may at any time
choose to re-attend classes or participate in additional hands-on
training activities while enrolled at IMAj or at any time after
graduation. This helps to ensure that every student has the
ability to utilize the resources of the IMAj Institute in any way
that may help to ensure their success.
New
classes start every month. However, IMAj limits its class
sizes for the Clinical Aesthetics program.
